IRENE S. BRADY Irene S. Brady, 80, was born on February 26, 1912 at Brookville, the daughter of Andrew A. Nelson and Emilie J. Bowman Nelson. She passed away on August 6, 1992 at Avon, Connecticut. Mrs. Brady grew up and went to school in the Brookville area. She lived in Wichita most of her life, moving to Salina in 1976. She moved to Avon in 1980. She was a homemaker. Her husband Ralph G. Brady preceded her in death in 1975. Survivors include: a son, Raymond Brady, Simsbury, Connecticut; a brother Amos A. Nelson and a sister, Doris Frain, both of Minneapolis; and two grandchildren. The funeral was held Wednesday, August 12 at the United Methodist Church of the Cross with Rev. Paul Wilke officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Park in Salina. Memorials may be made to the Ottawa County Hospital head injury unit. |
